Most people got their itouch jailbroke, but they don’t know how to use it. Most basic thing you jailbeak your itouch is to download “Installous” to get free games. But today, I’m going to teach you how to change your itouch to an iphone. If you look at the upper right hand corner, you will see a battery percentage on iphone. But on itouch it doesn’t show. I will teach you how to add it. If you look at the upper left hand corner of your iphone, you will see it said AT&T, or T-Mobile. But on itouch you will see “Ipod” I can change it to any kind of words that you want to put. For example, you can put “You Name Here”, “Hacker” Or “You SUCK!”…etc.

Risk???

Not really, if you follow my instructions below. You would be ok. Alright, let’s go!!

Battery Percentage is mine!!

If iphone has the battery percentage, why can’t ipod touch has it too? (Is that racist???!?!)

Let’s jump to the subject. In order to put battery percentage on a itouch(Any kind of generation)

You need to go to Cydia                  Tap Search                Then Type Fake Carrier. DOWNLOAD IT!!

After you download that, it asks you to reboot your springboard, just simply wait till it finishes. Then unlock your itouch, you should see the battery percentage. EASY, RIGHT???

Customize Your Own ipod status!

Go to Cydia           Go to Search           Type MakeItMine  ( Please type it exactly!! Otherwise you will not find it)

Let’s it, EASY!! HA

Add 5 apps on your itouch column

Go to Cydia           Go to Search             Type 5 column SpringBoard

Easy!! RIGHT?!?

Let’s go back a little bit for the people who didn’t jailbreak his/her itouch.

What do u need is tell yourself what generation is your itouch. (If you don’t know how, go to Setting               General              About , and then scroll down.) If you have an Ipod Touch 2^nd or 3^rd generation, and firmware of 3.1.2 or 3.1.3, go to Google, and type spiritjb.com. Then simply follow the instruction on the web.

If you have an Ipod touch 4^th generation, firmware of 4.1. Download limera1n, and jailbreak it.

If you have any kind of itouch, that has firmware of 4.01 or 4.02, go to safari on your itouch, type jailbreakme. Simply slide to jailbreak after you click on the website.
